# AI Readiness

AI readiness is how prepared an organisation’s data, systems and processes are for AI that keeps working after the demo.

## Definition

Most AI projects stall on data and on connecting systems, rarely on the model. Being ready means your data is clean and easy to find, your systems can be connected, and you have one clear use case with a good return to start with. Checking this first is what separates AI that goes live from AI that stays a pilot.
